Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for a tournament?
Open the Tournaments page, pick one that is open for registration, and follow the on-screen steps. Team captains register their squad; individual events let you sign up directly.
Can I play for a different school?
No — you represent the school you are enrolled in. Eligibility is verified from your LPU registration during sign-up.
How are GSC championship points calculated?
Every sport contributes points to your school’s General Sports Championship total — wins, knockout bonuses, and individual placements all roll up automatically into the combined table on the Standings page.
What happens if a match is rained out?
The tournament admin either reschedules it, orders a replay, or abandons it — you will see any new date on the Schedule and the tournament’s fixtures. A rain-interrupted cricket match can also be shortened and played to a finish: both sides must get at least 5 overs (or half the scheduled overs in short formats) for it to count. If it is abandoned, the match is recorded as No Result and each side takes the tournament’s No Result points.
How can I become a match official?
Apply through the Join page or contact your sport’s coordinator. Empanelled officials are assigned to matches they are neutral to (never their own school).
