National Sports Day 2025: Celebrating Fitness, Teamwork, and Champions

Lovely Professional University celebrated National Sports Day 2025 with immense enthusiasm, pride, and a grand showcase of athletic talent. The celebrations kicked off with a high-energy campus Marathon that brought together students, staff, and sports enthusiasts to embrace the spirit of fitness, teamwork, and active living. The event featured fierce competition across multiple disciplines, concluding with thrilling Futsal and Cricket tournament matches. The entire occasion was greatly motivated by the presence of Mr. Surinder Khurana (Security Head, LPU), whose encouraging words inspired students to pursue discipline and dedication in all walks of life, alongside Mr. Sorabh Lakhanpal (Executive Dean of the Student Welfare Wing, LPU), whose continued support made the celebration truly memorable. Highlighting the day was a grand prize distribution ceremony graced by elite guest athletes: - Priya Sharma: International Judo Player & MTV Roadies XX Athlete - Tarun Sharma: World Rank 5 Para Athlete - Vishal Sharma: Judo Coach & National Medalist Their inspiring journeys served as a beacon of resilience for our aspiring student-athletes.
