Valorant Campus Cup 2025: Jio Games Esports Hub Launch & GSC Trophy Unveiling

Our campus stepped into a new era of sports and entertainment as we successfully hosted the Valorant Campus Cup 2025 on October 8th & 9th, 2025. Organized in collaboration with JioGames, this high-octane tournament turned the campus into an adrenaline-charged arena where elite student-athletes clashed in intense tactical firefights for a spot at the National Level. This blockbuster event also served as the stage for a landmark double-celebration. The university celebrated the grand inauguration of the brand new, state-of-the-art JioGames Esports and Gaming Hub at LPU. The futuristic facility—complete with immersive gaming zones and advanced cloud gaming arenas—was officially unveiled by our distinguished Chief Guests, Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Shri Bhagwant Mann. Adding even more prestige to the occasion, the Chief Guests officially revealed the highly anticipated General Sports Championship (GSC) Trophy. The spectacular trophy reveal set the tone for the university's premier athletic season, uniting the worlds of traditional sports and modern esports under one roof. This cutting-edge hub now stands as a premier platform for students to explore professional avenues in gaming, design, and competitive athletics.
