LPU Inter School Sports Tournament 2025–26: Celebrating Athletic Excellence and Synergy

The campus was charged with unparalleled grit, discipline, and competitive spirit during LPU’s Inter School Sports Tournament 2025–26. Running from October 27, 2025, to March 25, 2026, this grand league was organized by the Division of Sports, Student Welfare Wing, Lovely Professional University, providing student-athletes from various schools a premier platform to display their talent. The tournament featured an expansive sporting lineup, testing the strategy, teamwork, and reflexes of participants across multiple popular disciplines: Team Sports: Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Futsal 5-A-Side, and Tug of War Individual & Combat Sports: Badminton, Chess, and Arm Wrestling After months of high-octane matches and exceptional performances, the tournament concluded with an inspiring Closing Ceremony. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal (Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, LPU), Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu (Vice Chancellor, LPU), and Dr. Sorabh Lakhanpal (Executive Dean, DSW), who commended the youth leaders for upholding true sportsmanship and dedication both on and off the field. Following a highly competitive season, the final leaderboard standings celebrated the ultimate athletic powerhouses of the university: Overall Winner: School of Physical Education (92 Points) Runner-up: School of Computer Science and Engineering (91 Points) 2nd Runner-up: Mittal School of Business (79 Points) Congratulations to the winners, runners-up, and all the participating schools that brought immense pride and passion to the arena, cementing this tournament as a true celebration of unity and excellence!
